TAG Youth Club for Disabled Young People continues to build relationships with regional and national youth work bodies.

The NYA is the national body for youth work in England, although they reach and influence stretches across the UK and internationally.  The National Youth Agency have been transforming lives through youth work for over 50 years.

NYA mission is to transform the lives of young people in England and beyond through the power of youth work.

NYA vision is to annually support one million young people through our work by 2023.

NYA believe in young people; they recognise society needs their spark and energy of to make it tick. Young people are our nation’s future. Society needs their spark and energy to make it tick. They have the power to make the world a better place for us all.

All young people should have the confidence and skills they need to live, learn, work and achieve. Youth work is in our view the best methodology to unlock young people’s potential by providing high quality support and opportunities.

Both the NYA and TAG believe youth workers build relationships that support young people to explore their personal, social and educational development. Youth work enables young people to develop their voice, influence and place within society.

New queuing calling system in place at TAG on Friday nights. Mainly for use for the radio station. The new system will also be used for other popular activities. Each participant will receive a device (up to 18 devices). When it’s your turn the device will vibrate, light up and beep. It’s hoped that this new system will enable young people to take part in other activities rather than waiting for a particular activity. ... See MoreSee Less

If you arrive late you will be able to press a button and it will page a member of staff who will make their way to welcome desk. Another button is available for when the tuck shop is closed and you wish to purchase a drink or snack.
