Spring 2018 Newsletter

Hello and welcome

This term has been jam packed with fun activities and developments in our Charity. Our activities in the last few months have included our first ever sleepover and the return of our Bowling Tournament.

The charity has renewed its London Youth Membership and we have recently joined UK Youth, both memberships bring benefits to our organisation. Our Youth Workers have had many opportunities to further develop and we are pleased that staff have attended training in Makaton, diversity and boccia coaching.

The highlight of the term must be the Club receiving the London Youth Gold Quality Mark. This is massive achievement especially as we are the only organisation in Richmond to have received this level of accreditation. We have also been awarded the Ambition Quality, Gold Quality Mark which is a nationally recognised badge of excellence.

Looking ahead we are extremely excited about next term with our Transition and Local Offer Fair that we are hosting with our City Leaders team on Saturday 9th June, our Annual General Meeting on the 25th of June and our residential trip in July.

During the Summer Term we plan to continue investing in our activities and provide new fun and engaging events.

Our aim for the term is to welcome more children and young people to take part in our Clubs.

Here’s to a great summer

TAG Youth Club

Today we hosted our Young Carers afternoon. We listened to music, played games, decorated t shirts and bags. Definitely had too many sweets (sorry parents!), cooled down with ice cold drinks and enjoyed hot Domino pizzas before a game of cricket.

Everyone went home with a TAG Goody Bag full of activities and treats.
