TAG Youth Club received a grant from Richmond Civic Pride to improve accessibility to its activities. We are pleased to have been able to purchased a new slide and hide oven and add height adjustable tables to the kitchen and art room at our base in Ham.  The grant also provided funds for the charity to purchase adapted cooking utensils and two talking microwaves.

We have been busy looking at the costs of our residential trips. Our trips are always subsidised and have been fortunate to have received additional funding in 2018 and 2019 but long term this cannot guaranteed. We’re pleased that subsidies will continue in 2020, however we are proposing the following new price structure to ensure we can cover the costs to the charity:

£250 per person. For those on low incomes, there will be the opportunity to apply for a additional subsidy. We want as many young people to have the opportunity to come away with us and have an action packed short break.

£250 per person who requires their own PA to attend. There will be no charge for the PA.

£400 per person who require TAG to provide 121 support during trip.

Our aim in 2020 will also be to look at additional funding and take part in fundraising activities to be able to reduce the £400, 121 cost to £250 so there is a one price structure for all.
