Adapting During Lockdown

TAG Youth Club for Disabled Young People continued to adapt its activities for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities by providing extra online services and delivering activity bags and electronic devices. 

During May we delivered:

31 online Activity Hour sessions, engaging with 34 young people, resulting in 416 visits. 

5 online TAG Juniors sessions, engaging with 17 children and young people, resulting in 46 visits. 

5 online TAG Youth sessions, engaging with 37 young people, resulting in 135 visits. 

4 online social action project work sessions, engaging with 7 young people, resulting in 27 visits. 

52 1:1 Live Chat Sessions via Zoom delivered to 18 individuals. 

We made 411 calls to families who are known to us, of these 247 calls were answered and conversations took place. 

91 handwritten letters per week resulting in a total of 364 letters sent during the month. 

60 Activity Bags delivered to local children and young people. 

11 electronic devices loaned to young people and Youth Workers.
